So What…

So What...
There are two attitudes we can adapt to lead a life…
By asking “what if?” every time.. or by asking “so what?”
What if this doesn’t happen?
What if I don’t get what I wish for?
What if… what if… what if…
Fears… in the form of what if…
Fears of failure…
I decided to take risks in my life almost in every aspect…
From career to relations…
I always believed in “so what!”
I have faced tough times in my life…
Have starved… no money… no place to stay…
Betrayal from friends…
No work…
Suffocation…
But I survived… as I always asked “so what”…
Ye nahi toh kuch aur achcha hoga…
Life is not a strategy where you can plan things, but even then we need to plan…
At least we need to anticipate…
Most of the times we know which turn life is going to take…
And it takes the turn…
So why to worry… why to live with “what if”
Lets ask life… “so what…”
So what if certain actor said no… you can still find another better actor…
So what if your girlfriend has left you… you have not forgotten to love…
So what if you just lost a job… They just lost a good worker…
So what if you have failed… you are still alive to re-start…
So… What are you thinking…:)
Get going…

History Repeats Itself…

Its true… History repeats itself…
Same situation in different time…
I think it repeats to give you another chance to correct your mistake..
Or may be time comes back to say sorry to us for creating that situation..
But we repeat our mistakes and time wins…
I was in Jabalpur for a function…
It was a pleasant surprise to see my school teacher Shri I.P.Tiwari ji…
Someone who believes in Karm… has never taken a single day leave… Has continued working after his retirement from government job…
Amazing…
I was in 8th standard… Holiday was declared in my school, Model High School.
One very big leader was coming to the town and we all school children were supposed to reach there to welcome her….
I did not go.
Tiwari sir asked me to go..
“vivek tumhein jaana chaaiye”
I proudly replied, “sir, kal newspaper mein padh lunga unki speech”
Tiwari sir took a pause and said, “jab ek bada leader aata hai toh wo apne bhaashan mein kai baar itihaas rachta hai.. nai ghoshnaayein karta hai… aur wahan rehkar tum… Uss itihas ka hissa bante ho… you witness history when its being made…”
This explanation changed my philosophy of life.
I started to understand past, present and future..
I started to understand value of the moment…
And movement…
And this time I was on stage for an important function.. and I felt the same thing..
I felt this function and gathering of people is important.. may be historical..
And Tiwari sir was present there too:)
Time gave me another chance to correct myself… and I did:)
Thanks Sir..
Aapne disha di…:)

Shri I. P. Tiwari...

Self-Motivation…
I had gone to Juhi Ma’s place yesterday… to narrate her my new script… “Tera kya hoga Waalia”
I think I can’t imagine any of my film without her. She is a great performer and a great human being.
She inspires me a lot.
I drove down to her place which took me two hours…
Her house manager took me to her music room where she was doing her riyaaz with taan-pura…
I was so happy to see that… she was alone… playing and improving on her singing…
Learning and enjoying.
Her guruji stays in Juhu but she does riyaaz everyday at her place too.
That made me realise that self motivation is the key to success. Really…
She gave her voice for one song in Bhoothnath, “chalo jaane do… ab chhodo bhi..”
Amit ji kept insisting me to dub this song in her voice.
I remember Shakhan came to wish her luck as she was recording a song in her voice for the first time.
I always knew that she is learning classical and she can tune a taan-pura also but I never knew that she is so dedicated and punctual in her riyaaz.
It’s her self motivation which drives her to go close to her passion.
I know Juhi Ma since I have been in cinema. I grew up in front of her and I have never seen her change.
Her positive attitude, happiness and way of connecting with people. That’s an amazing quality.
I have learnt so much from her. Never saw her in bad mood or misbehaving. Always smiling like an angel…
It’s so important to have self motivation. To achieve your goal or to be with your passion or to use your hunar (talent) correctly, its only self motivation which gives you a push. To do something which nobody has ever thought.
I was sharing my early days of struggle with her while we were having lunch. She smsd me that if your script is good toh khana milega warna…
So I got very good ghar ka khana…
I told her that I have stayed in jhopad-patti… walked from Worli to Bandra… starved for days but it was my passion for cinema which kept me alive in this field. And of course self-motivation. She was amazed and happy that I have gone through so much in life and never went wrong.
When we get this power of self motivation no power on earth can stop us to achieve what we desire.
We don’t need any Guru as our own inner strength is our Guru.
We generally look for someone who can push us or to motivate us. I have lived whole my life alone and fixed my own deadline to complete any work with success. Trust me. It’s just self motivation which keeps you alive and aggressive to keep going.
The way Juhi Ma conducts her life and remains happy always I feel we also can achieve that state of mind with little self motivation.
Hai na…

everybody is Somebody…
It’s true… everybody is somebody…
I meet a lot of people in my daily life… Everybody has added something or the other.
Sometimes it back fired also as they used or misused me… my contacts, etc…
All my friends around me suggest that I should stop mixing up with people so fast and should be careful before making friends with them…
I have never been judgmental and I won’t be ever…
What I realised that we think that this person is nothing or nobody… but the fact is everybody is somebody…
At least I think that way…
All the people who have come to this town have only one dream… to make it big…
People who have this zeal or motive can’t be nobody…
Growth could be slow but they do grow…
It’s a give and take… constant learning process… from each other…
Lots of time my friends would say, “arre I knew that person when he was nothing… now he is become so big… can’t believe it?”
The fact is we never had vision… that person had… that person was clear and we lived in this prejudice that he is NOBODY…
He came to you and you discarded him… you actually discarded a vision… a new thought… a new knowledge… an opportunity to know… that you are nobody…
Value yourself but value others too…
We buy a BMW from a very good looking showroom but it can be repaired by a simple, uneducated garage boy…
I think we must know people before we discard them…
We must accept them for their quality… as everybody has some quality…
Don’t stop connecting…

Bass Itna Sa Khwaab Hai... )
