Snatch It…

I am talking about your passion…

Passion for your field…

Snatch it… its all yours…

I remember when I was new in Mahesh Bhatt’s unit… all my seniors would ill-treat me by giving me strange work…

They were very unhappy with the fact that I am M. Sc. with Physics…

They gave me the work of spot boy…

I did not mind as I wanted to exist and learn…

I started snatching work from all…

One of my contemporary commented on my situation, “vivek… tu kaam kar hum toh aaram se baithenge…”

They were laughing and I was laughing too.:)

They did not realise that I made them sit forever…

Today non of those faces are around me… They don’t exist… they never existed…

I snatched all work from them…

I take inspiration from my sister Kavita… she lost her husband after just 2 and half years of marriage…

He died suddenly… Life had hit my sister from all directions…

I salute her; how she manages her job, her only son Kinshu and herself…

Amazing…

She enjoys her work so much you can’t imagine…

I was in Jabalpur and both my sisters were there as my mom is not well.

Kavita di was explaining my elder sister, Shikha di how she makes files, cases etc.

She is always excited about her work…

That’s an awesome attitude…

I have learnt that from her.

She loves to snatch work… and her seniors love her attitude.

She is an Inspector in central excise and I am proud of her…

So… Snatch it… Be indispensable… Do all work… Make them jobless… :)

And trust me… people in the form of hurdles, will disappear soon… they will sit…

So make them sit… :)

    Dear Vivek bhai,
    With best regards,

It’s really inspirational as well as motivational. If we see the positive aspect of any incident, we will be boosted from positive energy of the universe that will again help us to overcome the negativity caused by the incident.

    Thanx

  7. Sanjeev Jain (SONU) says:

    Hi Bobby!

These are really touchy pictures, reminds me the day of Kavita Di’s Marriage when we all friends got together and did whatever the little job of support we could provide. I remember it was shocking to learn from u that time that she lost her husband when u already left for your mission in Bombay. I can feel it is because of only her support that u are there what u r now. She had literally single handed took care of Aunt in jabalpur when possibly u were needed badly, but she let u continued your journey ( at that times all felt it to be endless journey). We understand she being the biggest cause for ur success,of course with Auntie blessing and courage for her life that allowed u to carry on ur mission.

I mat both of them with my small family 2-3 times in ur absence 2 years back. Our topic of discussion almost hanged around u only. I do respect their role in making “Vivek Sharma” THE DIRECTOR OF BOLLYWOOD, that as you rightly wrote still dream for others who misbehaved & illtreated u and now they are still workless and even don’t exist.

Carry On Man, We all luv u.

    • Vivek Sharma says:

Thanks Sonu..ya its Kavita di who supported me and made me…and its all blessings from “apne log”.. :)

    Dear Bobby,

It is like going back to history… as I brouse the articles I have missed out… going back one step at a time… I see the photo which stand out… Maaji..the inspiration is there I tell Namita and Kshitij this is the one pillar of a family the other being Sir {Superintendent Sir] who lived and worked for the betterment of a family which becomes exemplary.. to be emulated, copied and transpired in life.. a life lived with dignity, courage and strength.

Coming to Madam, it is a pleasure as usual for us just the remain in touch.. sometimes just knowing that the other is faring well is enough… she has risen as a meteor.. inspired those around her and here I would like to tell my blog friends.. this family has done so much of charity without anybody knowing about it…. Madam we all salute you for your strength.. I have seen you brave this world since last 17 years… right from the stage when others hurt you till the stage where others envy you… Keep going… incidentally any pictures in the offering ?

Kinshu, may God bless you with the best he has to offer. Saw you today.. you have grown up really fast… we are waiting to hear more of your name…keep going. I remember you as a boy of one year coming assiduously for the 15th August and 26th January celebrations to the office, with your mother and today you are the baton holder of the much respected family.

Sometimes words defy the feelings for a family. God give the courage and strength to this lovely family.
    As always,
    Diljit,Namita and Kshitij.

    • Vivek Sharma says:

thanks for your kind words Dijit.. god bless you and your lovely family:)

  18. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dearest Bobby,

I missed out on blogging and am trying to cover it up, by reading your overtime.
I was listening to the music of Blue and felt that three of the numbers will do tremendously well. I also saw the rushes and feel that the film has the right elements to make it a commercial hit.

The other day, we saw the movie “Wanted” by Prabhudeva. It was an out and out chatpata affair… but, we need all type of ingredients in food…. so too about movies. The movie is fast paced and has foot tapping numbers. The cinematography is good but the movie slows down as it reaches its climax. Here I want to ask you, why do the climax in any movie lacks the punch ? Can we not end a movie with the audience to guess the end ? I have seen some english movies with such ends…where the audience has to guess whether the ending was happy or sorrow…
I hope in your future ventures we may see such experimentation….
    Affectionately yours
    Diljit

    • Vivek Sharma says:

Indian cinema was rich in its content with definite ending..Diljit its the “so called” new wave cinema which has no ending no beginning.. Whatever people think or say, the truth is making films is a specialized job and it improves with experience.. so new makers are just making films… :)
without using the right power of such a strong medium…

  19. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dearest Bobby,
Exactly ! A film cannot be made by an assembly of choreographer, writer, music director, artists without the specialization and expertise it requires.

Just as a Doctor cannot be made with good nurses, instruments, hospital premises….

He should be specialised for his work, in art, it is extremly to word the feelings and then it is more difficult to express the feelings on screen…

To visualise and recreate the chemistry requires a scientist…of cinema….a Satyajit Ray,a Bimal Roy, a Guru Datt and of the present generation a Gulzar saab, a Vishal Bharadwaj…. and we wait for your name to be added in the list…….

The thought of eyes speaking, expressions challenging the other artist is the work of a genius…. in Bhootnath we saw glimpses and we are sure the good work continues……
    With respect
    Diljit

    • Vivek Sharma says:

film making is team work and it requires dedication from all diljit:)

  20. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dear Bobby,
    Miscellaneous musings,
    DRAWING ATTENTION.

How do we draw attention of all. A small child by his cry or gibber or a nudge or a kick…. he draws the attention of all. He also draws attention by his pranks.. further, be is also adored for his manners, studies, play, music, dance, acts, or vocal abilities. Some children also draw attention by trying to be ill…
    THEN WE GROW UP….
    The traits continue…
but, now these become more polished and refined since years of rearing and pampering these makes them grow into a full fledged cactus in many a cases…
I have seen people do and forget… not shout…
I have seen people not do anything…but only cry…
I have seen people who draw attention by funny antics, absurd behaviour and all the tricks which they learnt in the childhood….
I too have learnt a few…to work hard, to be in future, to learn to face defeats as milestones to graph myself again and again….
so I tell myself innumerable times, if I fall and do not get up I will be tampered, so with each fall I stand up, keep walking and also remind myself of the object, which made me fall… for I should avoid the same again… the same fall, hurt, dejection, rejection, and elimination…….
    Diljit

    • Vivek Sharma says:

living in real time makes us real…no illusions.. capability to face the real…the truth… its important that we learn… but its more important that we implement what we have learnt Diljit…
