Verbal Violence…

Verbal Violence…

We generally call it debate…

Debate in the name of Religion… Relation… Ration… and so on…

I remember Gujarat riots took place and I was witnessing a debate…

Who is right and who is wrong…

That made me realize how confused but influential religion is..

It can provoke you to kill…

God…

I was witnessing a debate about corruption…

Everything seems wrong… everything…

Then how are we surviving…?

Then I realised that I too have words and vocabulary to participate in this violence called… verbal violence…

It’s the most dangerous form of violence as it penetrates your heart. Your belief… and it generates three most dangerous, complex emotions…

Anger… Ego and Stubbornness…

In this process I realized that I am learning something which is not part of my life… that’s not my life…

Religion is just a way to live life… not life…

What if I was not born in this religion?

So what if I am born in this religion…

Debates raise questions… just questions and misguide us to an unknown fear…

And in search of answers, we deviate…

I never wasted my life in these debates…

And grew up watching elders going wrong…

The problem is “iss mulq ne buzurg hona bandh kar diya hai”

Badon se chhote seekhte hain…

Pehle safed baal anubhavi zindagi ki nishaani hote the… ab… pareshani ki pehchan hain…

We must stop this verbal violence…

Opinions for everything… questions to everything… but no answers…

It’s a simple life…

Let’s keep it simple and beautiful…

Live… and let live…

Buddham Sharanam Gachchami… :)

Main Samay Hoon...

Main Samay Hoon…

    Hi Vivek,

I feel most of the time people want to debate for the sake of themselves feeling good, to put across that they are right and the opposition is wrong, we see it everywhere, amongst friends, politicians, religious confrontations..I personally dont feel religion makes people kill, but it definately breaks up people into different groups/parties, who feel they are more superior human being to their counterpart..there are many people who are out there who appreciate their religion and respect without preaching it upon others where as there are certain individuals who dont feel that any religion other then their own should exist so they got out of their way to cause problems and conflicts, which uncalled for..I guess its just the way of the world, if we were all the same the world would be a boring place, but I guess we would not have so much violence between us and trying to have upmanship..

Hope you are keeping well and say Hi to the family for me

Hope you got to see Amitji launch Bigg Boss 3, it was absolutely awesome.. he really has alot of class..

    All the best always

    Hello Mr. Vivek,

This was yet another thought provoking post from you.

Debate is the most important and essential part of democracy. Healthy, constructive debate is always welcome, but debate just for the sake of debate does not serve any purpose. Debate aimed at hurting the sentiments, and provoking animosity between groups must be condemned in no uncertain terms. Therefore, incidents such as the Gujarat shame, which was a permanent blot on the secular credentials of our country, should never ever happen.

Yes, let us make life simple and beautiful.

BTW, has ‘Buddham Sharanam Gachchami’ gone on the floors?

    Regards,

    Melwyn

    • Vivek Sharma says:

very right melwyn.. Buddham will go on floors soon.. :)

    Dear Vivek ji,

Namaskar, sorry main ek month ke liye bina chhutti ke gayab ho gaya tha.

“verbal violence” Vivek ji iss desh me aaj jo kuchh bhi ho raha hai jise ham -aap verbal…… kahte hain
vo sab shiksha ka abhaw hai, kuch chalak log kam padhe logo ka galat ishtemal karke apna kam nikalte hain.

Gujrat danga, Bhagalpur danga ya Lalghadg (Bangal)danga ye sab to bas jhanki hai jo TV Akhbar me aa gaya, eise kai baat kai kam har din desh me hota hai jo hamare tak pahunch nahi pata.

    Dear Vivek Ji ,

Its great to get in touch with you again.
Seeing you with Amit Uncle , gives me immense pleasure that you are in perfect way …as heard that people around you also define kind of individual your are.
    You rock always Vivek Ji…
I wish you always from core of my heart the best of everything , you are the best human being I feel like & connect myself with you easily.

My love & affection to Mummy ji & sister as she is a great fighter( I read your last blog about her) , & I feel you draw inspiration from her a lot.

Verbal Violence , if we can only follow & understand why god has given us two ears & one tongue to be more a listener then a opinion maker > Verbal Diorrhea has created more war then anything else in the history of human being.
Wrong words spoke creates fear & out of fear comes violence , wrong understanding , wrong direction .

My understanding says even Mahabharata was due to verbal violence which lead to such a big war, so as as usual you are a champion analysis man , got it right most of the times.

    Love you always.

Tell amit ji he is awesome as aladin , and also his best is yet to come , probably Buddham Sharnam will be the best we will see.

    Vivek bhai

Verbal violence is much more dangerous . Whenever a person get involve in such non wanted discussions he /she great damage to their inner senses .It is for people who have plenty of time and it is for people who are in Politics .It can be stopped as long as man has power to speak and the time Kalugi Duniya exits .

We can however avoid ourselves to get indulge in such talks as it results in nothing .

In fact some efforts should be made through Television to educate people .Also in Primary schools emphasis be laid by teachers on developing social values in Childrens .There were days when Mughal were in Rule but there were no Riots .That social structure should be speard through Media in a Big Way .

    Luv to all .

      very true Ravi ji:)

    Dearest Bobby,
    Miscellaneous musings…

Read you today.after a long gap… is it not that we cater for attention right from the time of our birth to our end by crying… crying to be heard, noticed, paid attention to, show our superiority, show our strength… we shout, talk aloud, think aloud and feel the freedom of being the best….

If speech is silver then silence is golden. The best work in this universe are done without noise… ask the sun, moon or this earth… or ask those who rose to the heights…. the lesser [ better] they talked the better they became… right Sachin, Aamir, Amitabhji et al… regards.

    • Vivek Sharma says:

so true Diljit… i never saw Ratan Tata losing his temper at any stage of his tough times.. verbal violence leads to no where…

  9. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dear Bobby,

Last few weeks were hectic. Our team had been to Waidhan for around a week… lot of new factories are coming there. I was at the Guest House of NTPC… a beautiful place with lush green surroundings. There life has its own pace. I remember that while standing at the Singrauli Railway station suddenly I felt that I had gone back about 50 years or more . The arrival of the train too was as if I was stranded in space/time.

Incidentally, during my visit I remember a person remembring Ajay Sir with lot of respect and fondness. His ability as an Officer and his keen desire for cricket too was told to me. These things I knew but to hear them again after so many years… I realised… we leave our footprints in this world long after we are gone…. we are remembered and cherished in eternity….

    Dearest Bobby,

Since I started blogging, I feel there has been new lease of life for me and my family. To be able to commute and to know about the person whom you respect and remember is the beauty of blogging.
I remember times when I used to tell Kshitij and Namita about you… your deeds, achievements and your nature… but, today I show them your progress and your keen sense of time management and articulate observations which you transmit through the net.

Incidentally, I had gone to the school, there one of my childs friend asked me that Kshitij was telling him that his Chachaji had made Bhootnath, was it true ? I smiled and felt the pride as I had never done before.
Thanks for being in our lives……
Thanks for gracing with your kindness…

    Dearest Bobby,

    Miscellaneous musings…
I have tried it all, by this way or that way, by anger or anguish, by mercy or by polishing and nothing has happened..then, HE intervened, HE took control over everthing, HE came in life…and then it worked…it worked since I had left all to HIM…I had worked and left the rest to HIM….

Today is an important day, B’day of the living legend,Amitabhji. Apart from being attached to him as his blogger friend, I have tremendous respect and liking for his deeds, the deeds which have passed all adversities. I had tried to be in top 100 in the bloggers list…but failed, inspite of blogging for so long….the closest I came was around 120. So I decided to enjoy my blogging, leaving the rest in HIS HANDS.
Today, can you believe…I have come first to greet him. So whatever happens…it is destined…for HE takes care of all…..
With lots of love, LEGENDS ARE THE CREATION OF HIM….

  19. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dearest Bobby,

We had to work on Saturday and Sunday and were feeling exhausted. The weekends are for rest and fun but now a days the officers make us work on these days too.
So today after assisting Kshitij with his mathematics I was late to the office by 20 minutes… there the sepoy stated to me that names are being written of those who are late…..

I pondered, is it that those arrive at 0930 and remain in the office till 1800 hrs more capable than those who work hard for what ever time they spend in the office ?

I was feeling a bit demoralised, rather than patting us for working at a stretch for seven days we were reprimanded for coming late by twenty minutes…

Keeping the cool became difficult. Suddenly I got a call from Kavita madam. She enquired about the well being of the family and asked me if I had lot of time at my disposal as I kept on blogging ?

I laughed out aloud. The phone changed my temper. It mellowed me. I told her that blogging had given me a new lease of life. It had brought my family in touch with those who are creatively conscious, which my life was lacking….
So, a kind hearted phone changed the day…which ended as it ends… in high spirits and eagerness to do more with the limitations we have ….
    With remembrances
    Diljit

its good that you take things in positive stride Diljit… you will grow and grow:)

  20. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dear Bobby,
Good morning and another day has arrived. I have bowed before my parents and Gods in my prayer room. This has become a custom since times I have forgotten. I have requested that let this day pass without me harming or hurting anyone intentionally or unintentionally, because in this karmatic world sometimes even our undone deeds may affect others adversely.

Diwali is fast approaching, but, we have not yet started the preparations. Only thing is that some edibles like saloni and matthi have been prepared by Namita yesterday. I hope these do not get consumed before the festival.
Yesterday, we went to a search. For two hours we were told that the person will be coming just any minute. When the person arrived, he was accompanied by a whole bunch of other persons who were not known to us. The mob became very restless and non-cooperative. We tried to pacify their temper with soft words… the angry person had lost his cool. Suddenly, when shown the search warrant… he became subdued… and there was a drastic change in his behaviour…. I wondered…. are we not like a chamaeleon… changing our colour/character according to situations….his false notions were caught hold of, and at the end of it he recorded his statement without a murmur. When we were back in our vehicles we were told that he is influential and has backing….. but, does it mean that he should become a evader? A person is known for his goodness as long as he is one, and loses it as soon as he takes the wrong path….
So, this new day, let us make a fresh start…towards wellbeing, freedom, creativity and happiness…
    Regards always,
    Diljit
