Real…Unreal…

Mirror always shows just the opposite of what you are…

Our right is his left and our left is his right…

I was waving my right hand and me in the mirror was replying back with his left hand:)

Mirror Image…

Real and un-real…

Its amazing how in nature or in our discoveries we have all the means to find what is real…

Even then we live in an un-real world..

Un-real world of our illusions and dreams…

Un-real world of our expectations and failures…

I meet a lot of people… most of them want to make it big without even knowing what they are capable of…

Without even knowing that its not in them…

They don’t want to realise and they don’t improve..

They look into the mirror and find themselves attractive but they don’t realise it’s the mirror image.. not real… or may be what they are seeing in the mirror is real..

They use mirror to check their decoration not their real person.

I asked my friends two days back that do you know who you are?

They proudly replied, “yes”

So they know who they are and even then confused what they want to do in life?very strange…

It’s not possible to know yourself and not know what you want.

I don’t agree with it.

I think most of us don’t know who we are and what direction of life we should take.

The reason is, we are un-real…we don’t want to know the real or truth of our lives.. because dreams are always colourful and we are colour blind in real life… )

We need to see mirror once again to see the other side of us… The real side..

Reality check.. That’s what we need.

We are talented, we are good.. But to be the best we must know who we are.. and we must improve in our efforts to achieve our goals…

I hope I am making any sense…:)

Have a nice real successful life:)

REAL...:)

REAL...:)

Hi Vivek its nice to read something straight from those thoughts which keep troubling a person in their day to day life but you know many make their unreal life as their real one and it gets on to that extent that you cant differenciate between the two… Those times when we were who we really are, are gone. to get someting the new mantra is loose yourself and be a fake personality who is pretentious and doesn’t respect feelings and in this race everyone wants to be first.. wel its debatable… but U R RIGHT! real and unreal are important to be known…

    • Vivek Sharma says:

true Maanwi.. agree with you…its just an analysis to make ourselves aware…:)

    Dear Mr. Vivek,

I guess we should place another mirror facing the first mirror to get the real picture. Jokes apart, it is true that we tend to run away from facts. We are happy to hide behind false curtains and live in grand illusions until it is too late and fall to the ground with a loud thud. Thank you for sounding the warning alarm.

    Regards,

    Melwyn

    • Vivek Sharma says:

thanks Melwyn for reading the blog..we must do reality check as and when we tend to believe we are the best:)

    Hi Vivek,

So true, that why we go through life moving from job to the other trying to figure out what we really want..at times when we reach our destinations, it really isnt what we want and we change our course of life again..but its is best to evaluate ourselves, but I dont feel we should ever limit ourselves…never look down on ourselves as if something is not achieveable, because these thought would stop you from reaching your goals:)

    Hope you keeping well

    All the best always

    Vivek Bhai,

i fully agree with your views .The more one is aware of his / her capabilities the more rightly he can decide about things in life .Living in Dreams ALWAYS do not result in any way . In life people around us make Fool of us by Showing dreams and talking goody goody .in fact by doing this they want to serve their own puposes AND NOT OURS.One must be clear of final goal he / she want to achieve ( of course the goal should not be materialistic ) as it will finally not give peace which is the most important thing in everybody life . In actual almost all of us keep running for matrialistic things and achievements ( Effect of Maya jaal in Kalyug ) If we start dreaming for a pure and healthy life free of Anger , Attachments , Lust WHAT A FINAL ACHIEVEMENT WE WILL HAVE .

Update us on your developments in projects . Pl include Gulzaar Sahib for Lyrics and Dialogues .
    LUV TO ALL

    Hi Vivek
Life itself has become so unreal that it is a challenge to recognise the real self. People are just chasing dreams which lead to materialistic pleasure but there is no desire to discover the real self and the real world.
Saw “Blue” last night ; not bad for you can see the beautiful waters of Bahamas for hundred bucks.

    Thanks
    Gaurav

    • Vivek Sharma says:

Yea…BLUE….:) we have adjusted with this fact that world has become unreal and so this is the way we are going to remain, Unreal… but Gaurav i feel reality check is important…sometimes:)

    Dear Vivek Ji,

Hows you doing Sir,I do agree with our fellow blogger anjali who says sometimes reality is harsh to people try to run away from it, create illusions , & become unreal, so times life is so cozy people become unreal

But I feel the more real we are , the more we are close to our reality I may not say we will be the happiest person but one thing i feel strongly we will be a satisfied individual.

End of the day it gives you a nice sleep , sound thinking &we are more secured when we are real .

Adi ko dekh kar ek Jagjit Singh ke ghazal feel kiya

If we sum up the total number of hit songs from a Bollywood Director’s perspective…Mahesh Bhatt wins the game.

As a director and even now as a producer nearly all his movies songs are awesome compositions.

Personally his philosophy and his personal gurus are totally isolated from this routine world…where as professionally Bhatt sir’s work reflect lot of humanism and his movies even won national awards apart from commercial success.

As you have close rapport with him can you please share your experiences in this blog.

    • Vivek Sharma says:

Yes Mr Jaju…he is my teacher and i have learnt a lot from bhatt saab….:)will write few turning point experiences soon…:)

  20. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dear Bobby,

    Miscellaneous musings..

    CREATING CLONES OR ROBOTS

I had been to my son Kshitij school yesterday… abig school with dynamic administration. A name which it has to hold. But, during the parten-teachers meeting I saw the same things being repeated again and again… child talks, child plays pranks, child is mischievious etc. for nearly all children. The PTM was as if we were in a vegetable market…loud, noisy and without any life…

As we came outside I met the Director. a Dakuu madam and I asked her does these marks count ? In life a person who has achieved is one who thinks and acts… marks may be an assett but not the ultimate. Are we not robbing the children of their childhood by imposing upon them this burden… she mused… and said in a small city like Satna we do not get interactive parents… so I ended by asking her EVEN IF I DO NOT SUCEED DOES IT CHANGE THE WORLD ? Any achievement without satisfaction is life a life without music… she waved at us…. Bye-bye for now
    Diljit

    • Vivek Sharma says:

Hmmm.. Dijit… we have to find a balance in this world with people who are not in synch with us or people who can make a difference in our lives… Khitj belongs to a good family… He will grow in right direction…:)

  21. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dear Bobby,
Yesterday went to see Aladin with Kshitij… it was a treat to watch. Sujoy has done a terrific job. The music, cinematography, acting and story is all well crafted. It is a fantasy movie. I have read Amitji himself state that the critics have wronged it stating it a disaster.. the initial collections were not encouraging. But, I assure you that this movie is going to pick up by mouth to mouth publicity. It is a good and novel effort and such movies should not be condmned only because they are not real, they take us into a fantasy world since there is vast difference between real and reel life… to create an illusion is very difficult and it requires a MASTER…but, there should be something to criticize else how these news/channels will run ….
Take good care and congratulations for again bringing Gulzar Saab and Vishal combination together… BSG is eagerly awaited… Finally, for now, thanks for Kshitij … each child is special and is to be nutured….Regards Diljit

    • Vivek Sharma says:

Not Gulzar saahib…Jaaved saab and vishal Diljit :)

  22. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dearest Bobby,
Opps…sorry… we have some great lyricist available Javed saab , Gulzar saab and of late Prasoon Joshi. Sorry for the slip… I read Javeed saab and wrote Gulzarji…. but, both are real masters… so the music will be a treat to hear…. dear Bobby, you get what you want…. the best…. may this one be remembred for ever…. Love Diljit

    • Vivek Sharma says:

you will always find very good music in my all films…thats a promise Diljit…i love music and will bring back golden era of shayri… :)

  23. Diljit Wadhawan says:

    Dear Bobby,

Thanks a lot… as those close to me know I love music.. it relaxes me… but, soulful numbers are more welcome since they tend to remain forever while those with lots of instrumental backdrop make loud offering. Stretching my thoughts, I loved a song sung by Vishal for Aladdin… it was hearttouching… You are My love…it went… and the use of guitar was done with good effect… recently I also liked a number from Ajab Prem ki Gazab Kahani… the song is rendered by Sonu Nigam [ one of my favourites] and Shreya Ghoshal[ a beautiful voice] with lyrics of Prasoon Joshi… it is worth listening to… finally, songs of both of your movies Bhootnath and KKD were earful.. the music of Vishal-Shekhar is contemparty and with lots of zeal…. Diljit

    • Vivek Sharma says:

Shayri jab tak rahegi songs mein wo zinda rahenge Diljit… :)
