    Dear Vivek ji,
Very true , You can not direct a “director”. But , In our film industry, many directors bear the “nakhra” of all the stars. The producer thinks financial point of view only. That’s why, most of films are flop and have no any innovative ideas/ subject.
You are right, director make stars. We know, persons behind the screen are more important than these on screen persons. Every person plays an important part in the making of the film i.e. all staff even a spot boy also. So, we should motivate all of them.
In my opinion, the director is the real hero of the film.

    Namastay Sir,

I do agree with you Sir. Film is director’s medium. He is all in all. We can take examples of Mr. Danny Boyle for Slumdog Milliner and Mr. Suraj Barjatya for Maine Pyar Kiya. They worked with new comers or less known actors only and they are appreciated by only their own vision and work.

    Hi Vivek,

Well written, its always been a fact that the captain of the ship is the director, as in the end its his vision thats portrayed on the big screen, if you are part of the written script too, it make the matter even more positive for the director as the creation of the character are from within..you are right, to have someone write a story and someone else to make a movie it will lack the correct interpretation on the big screen..with Mahesh Bhatt, Yash Chopra, Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and many such Director/producer teams seem to do both..as they vision is portray in the way they want, the character are written the way they want and the end product is the way they want, with interruptions..I guess thats really the only way to go…

    All the best always
